Saharan Dust
with deepest apologies to the Beatles

I once had a world
Or should I say, she once had me?
She said, "AQI's crap."
Isn't it just, Saharan dust?

She bade me not wheeze
And the atmosphere started to seethe.
So I tried to inhale
And I noticed that I couldn't breathe.

I shat on a rug, wasting her time,
Polluting her clime.
We gasped until two, and then she said,
"This biosphere's dead."

She told me she used
To be healthy and started to hack.
I told her I wasn't
And slowly collapsed in the back.

And when I awoke, out of my head,
That bird was dead.
So I saw the fire,
Isn't it proud, pyrocumulus cloud?
