In reverse order, these are today's fastest-growing cities ...

2. Pompeii-Herculaneum.  Pompeii-Herculaneum, long an important port for Greeks, Romans and Etruscans alike, is a bustling commercial hub.  It has also become the go-to landing for wealthy Romans.  But that's not all!  
Pompeii-Herculaneum supports a thriving agriculture and provides a panoramic view of scenic Mount Vesuvius!

1. Atlantis.  Located in the Mediterranean-Atlantean sweet spot, Atlantis is the high-tech and energy capital of the modern* world.  Atlantis has a mild, subtropical climate that attracts refugees from the colder northern climes.  With a bubbling economy, Atlantis is a veritable hive of human industry with a highly educated, energetic, and growing work force.  The picturesque and abundant coastline is an additional attraction, and not any kind of risk of inundation at all.  No matter what those pessimistic gloomy climatological Gusses say.
