Congressional Oversight

In recent months, the Fake News has been criticizing Congress for failing to exercise its oversight responsibilities. Nothing could be further from the truth, and I offer the following proofs...

1. The Iran War. Congress had absolutely nothing to do with that: not with planning, not with execution, not with sanctioning, not with anything.  Now, if that was not an oversight, I don't know what is.

2.  Tariffs. Congress did not pass any legislation to impose tariffs. Neither did they do anything to oppose, defend, or modify them. It's as if Congress was not even aware of the tariffs in any way. Clearly, another huge oversight.

3.  The Epstein Files. Congress is apparently unaware that, in violation of statute, millions of pages of the Epstein Files have not been released. Another gigantic oversight.

4. Constitution of the United States, Article 1. According to Article 1 of the US Constitution, the Congress is one of three co-equal branches of the US government. Congress has shown no evidence of ever having read this or any other article of the US Constitution. I submit that there has never been a US Congress that has exercised so much oversight.
