At the Porcine Housing Authority

Once upon a time, there were three Little Pigs and one Big Bad Wolf named Mitch, and they were all members of the board at the Porcine Housing Authority.  In fact, they were all the members of the board at the Porcine Housing Authority.

"We are here to decide the construction regulations for pig houses," said Piggy Kamala, who was Chairman of the Board.

"I'm going to block everything you try to do," said Wolf Mitch.

"The Little Pig Party proposes to require that all pig dwellings be constructed of brick," said Piggy Kamala.

"I'm going to block everything you try to do," said Wolf Mitch.

"We have a 2 to 1 majority on the Board," Piggy Kamala pointed out. "Not counting me."

"We-e-ell, actually, ...," hemmed Piggy Joe, "I can't support a regulation that doesn't have Big Bad Wolf Party buy-in.  I'm sure we can come up with a compromise.  What would the BBWP be comfortable with?"

"Pork," said Wolf Mitch. "Mmmmm!  Yum!"

"How about wooden houses?" offered Piggy Joe. "With huff-resistant fencing."

"Pork," replied Wolf Mitch. "Mmmmm!  Yum!"

"We could go with a wood-straw hybrid," continued Piggy Joe.

"I'm going to block everything you try to do," said Wolf Mitch.

"Ok," agreed Piggy Joe ruefully. "I guess I'm backing brick, after all."

"Good," said Piggy Kamala. "Let's vote!"

"AaaoooOOOWWWW!!!" howled Wolf Mitch.

"What the heck was that?" cringed Piggy Kamala, holding her ears.

"Oh, right," explained Piggy Kyrsten. "That's the lupibluster.  When ever a lupine member doesn't like something, he gets to howl until everyone gives up and lets him have his way."

"AaaoooOOOWWWW!!!" agreed Wolf Mitch.

"Well, let's get rid of that nonsense!" snapped Piggy Kamala.

"Um, ... 'fraid not," replied Piggy Kyrsten. "As fair-minded creatures, we Pigs are obliged to protect the poor Wolves from bullying.  Besides, sometime in the future, the shoe may be on the other trotter, and then we will expect the Wolves to give us the same consideration."

"Hee, hee, hee!" chortled Wolf Mitch. "We'll block everything you try to do."

"Besides," said Piggy Kyrsten "it's tradition, and gosh!  What's more important than that?  Certainly not survival!"

"Pork," added Wolf Mitch helpfully. "Mmmmm!  Yum!"
